Most of our products are used and therefore these types of items are worn and washed multiple times.  This leads to expanding and shrinkage so the tag size is most times NOT correct.  Fortunately there is a universal way to measure these garments. The way to do that is to measure the waist and multiply by 2 that will be the number in the parenthesis followed by the measurement of the inseam. The given inseam size for shorts are the total length.  We highly suggest you do the same to your favorite pair of bottom garments.  We give you the tag size so that way when you receive the item you are aware of the size on the tag.
