This listing is for a set of four salad plates in the
Trieste
design. The plates, which measure 8" in diameter, were manufactured by
Tienshan
. The pattern has since been discontinued. These plates feature a white body, yellow center, green laurel band, fruit motif along the rim, and gold trim.
THE MAIN COURSE
You'll find these salad plates to be,
at worst
, in near-mint condition with only
extremely
minimal, virtually nonexistent, and infinitesimal surface wear.
Any
utensil mark or scratch that may exist is "clean" and not the dark dingy gray scuff marks that are so common - the background is pure white. Some of the plates are in mint, like new condition with absolutely no surface wear at all. Whether mint or near-mint, t
he decor is in beautiful condition, the colors are vivid with no fading or discoloration, and the glaze shines like new. Additionally, all of the plates are completely free of cracks, chips, nicks, crazing, stains, repairs, permanent hard water deposits, and detergent residue. These salad plates are in
far better
condition than what is typically considered to be "excellent" or "gently used".
