This listing is for a set of four 8 ounce capacity cups in the
Trieste
design. The cups, which measure 3-1/8" in diameter and stand 3" tall, were manufactured by
Tienshan
. The pattern has since been discontinued. These cups feature a white body, fruit motif décor, yellow & green laurel bands, and gold trim.
THE MAIN COURSE
You'll find these cups to be,
at worst
, in near-mint condition with only
extremely
minimal, virtually nonexistent, and infinitesimal surface wear.
Any
utensil mark or scratch that may exist is "clean" and not the dark dingy gray scuff marks that are so common - the center is pure white. Some of the cups are in mint, like new condition with absolutely no surface wear at all. Whether mint or near-mint, t
he decor is in beautiful condition, the colors are vivid with no fading or discoloration, and the glaze shines like new. Additionally, all of the cups are completely free of cracks, chips, nicks, crazing, stains, repairs, permanent hard water deposits, and detergent residue. These cups are in
far better
condition than what is typically considered to be "excellent" or "gently used".
