General Shipping Info:
Shipping is done via USPS Priority Mail or USPS Priority Mail Express on Mondays or Tuesdays.
All shipping costs are calculated by the cost to mail out the fish, and the supplies necessary to get them to you safely.
(I do not profit from the shipping cost.)
** If you are interested in purchasing multiple quantities or listings, in most cases, I can combine your shipping costs.**
(If you do not see the "request invoice" option from your cart, please send me a message first, so I can confirm proper space and box size for your desired needs. Afterwards, you may purchase as listed, but you will be promptly refunded any extra shipping costs.)
After your payment has cleared, your fish will begin the 24-48 hour fasting process.
(Fish will be selected, inspected, monitored, and will begin fasting at this time. Fasting your fish helps maintain water quality during shipment.)  I will not ship during extreme weather conditions or temperatures.  I will check the weather forecast for the entire journey prior to shipping, (looking for ideal temps between 40-90°F).  Holidays may also delay orders.
I will only ship domestic, to the lower 48 united states, no P.O. boxes. Please make sure your shipping information is correct before purchasing.  Please allow a few hours for tracking info to update after you have received it.
USPS Priority Mail Express, Next-Day to 2-Day:
The Express shipping cost is based upon the package weight and distance traveled. (If ordering larger quantities, a second package may be required. Please inquire before purchasing.)
For one box, starting prices (As of Jan. 2023) are at .00 (for zone 1), but may increase to .00 (for zone 7), all based solely upon your location.
To order Priority Mail Express shipping, you will be charged the full amount of .00.  Refunds will be promptly given after your package has shipped for any overpayment.
Examples: Chicago (zone 3): .00 (after .00 refund), New York (zone 5) .00 (after refund), Los Angeles (zone 7) .00 (No refund given)
DOA policy/Live arrival guarantee:
*For colder winter or hotter summer temperatures, Priority Mail Express is highly recommended.
The DOA policy will apply
ONLY
if Priority Mail Express is chosen at checkout,
when shipping outside of ideal conditions (listed above).*
This policy ONLY applies to the shipping period and is void once the shipping bag has been opened.
In the event of a DOA, 2 clear photos showing the deceased fish in the unopened bag, must be submitted within the hour of the shipment received.
(It is the responsibility of the buyer to be present and ready for the arrival of the package.)
This policy
only applies to the cost of the DOA fish
and does not include shipping costs. Shipping costs for replacement fish are the responsibility of the buyer.
