    Description

    This charming prom dress from the 1970s echoes the prairie dress and features a fine organdy fabric fully lined with a cream fabric that is probably taffeta. Beautifully handmade. The organdy pattern is composed of lovely
    flowers in soft blues and pinks on a cream background. The dress is sleeveless and ties over the shoulders, under the bodice, and at the high waist. (No zippers, buttons or snaps!) Appears to be about size 8 or 10. Approximate measurements are 34” bust; 28½” high waist; 43” from high waist to hem of skirt; 60+” from mid-shoulder tie to hem. Blue ribbons and fine lace decorate the bodice and surround the skirt in three tiers; and the hem is decorated with a final row of cotton lace. Clean. Excellent condition. A lovely touch of spring/summer from the 1970s! Non-smoking household.
