    Description

This is an unusually lovely Victorian die cut and embossed graduation program.  It is from the Glendale School District No. 1 of Bourbon County, Kansas from the 1912-13 year.  It has the name of the teacher Fannie L. Miller, the officers and the pupils.  It must have been a one room school with 19 students.  There are 5 Harrars, 4 Duttons, 2 Taylors, 2 Kennedys and 2 Ciesnas and a few singles.  The program has lovely embossed pansies around a seashell with a pink ribbon at the top for hanging.  It is 8" across and 7 & 1/2" deep with a light diagonal crease.  There is no writing on the back.  It is a very stunning example of a graduation program.
